Cram & Conquer

Aesthetic Pomodoro Timer & Study App

Cram & Conquer is a free online Pomodoro timer built for students. Start a 25-minute focus session in one click, take a short break when the alarm rings, and repeat. No download is needed and the timers work without an account.

When you want more than a clock, the full study app adds group study rooms with friends, lofi music, rain and white noise, notes, flashcards, a habit tracker, a calendar, study statistics and a pomodoro cat that levels up every time you finish a session.

How to use the Pomodoro timer

  1. Pick a timer: the classic 25-minute Pomodoro timer, or a themed timer such as anime, lofi, rain or the pomodoro cat.
  2. Write down the one task you will work on, then press start and stay on that task until the alarm rings.
  3. Take a 5-minute break when the session ends. After four sessions, take a longer 15 to 30 minute break.
  4. Create a free account to save your sessions, track study hours, play music and study with friends.

What is the Pomodoro Technique?

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method created by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. You work in short, focused blocks called pomodoros, traditionally 25 minutes long, separated by 5-minute breaks. After four pomodoros you take a longer break.

It works because a fixed, short block is easy to start, the timer removes the urge to keep checking the clock, and regular breaks stop mental fatigue from building up over a long study day.

Why students use Cram & Conquer instead of a basic timer

A plain countdown tells you when to stop. Cram & Conquer is built to make you want to start. You can study alongside friends in a shared room, watch your study hours add up on the leaderboard, and raise a pomodoro cat that grows with every finished session.

Everything a study session needs is in one tab: tasks, deadlines, focus music, ambient sound, notes and flashcards. You no longer need five apps open to get one hour of work done.

Frequently asked questions

Is Cram & Conquer free?

Yes. Every timer on the site is free to use without an account, and the free plan includes the aesthetic timer, a task list, basic backgrounds and study pets you unlock as you go. Premium adds group sessions, friends, all backgrounds and sounds, the study cats and full analytics.

How long is a Pomodoro?

A classic Pomodoro is 25 minutes of focus followed by a 5-minute break, with a longer 15 to 30 minute break after four rounds. You can change the session length on any Cram & Conquer timer.

Can I use a Pomodoro timer with friends?

Yes. With Premium you can add friends, create a group study session and run a shared timer, so everyone focuses and takes breaks together.

What is the pomodoro cat?

Cram & Conquer has study pets that grow with every completed focus session, which gives you a small, cute reason to come back tomorrow. Free accounts unlock pets as they study, and Premium unlocks the study cats Hades and Menelaus. You can also study with a cat for free on the Pomodoro cat timer.

Does the timer keep running in a background tab?

Yes. The timer runs in a background worker, so it stays accurate when you switch tabs to read notes or open a document.
